After the successful CEEMAS conferences in St. Petersburg (1999), Cracow (2001), Prague (2003) and Budapest (2005), the CEEMAS Steering Committee decided that the next CEEMAS conference would take place in Leipzig. This will continue the tradition that CEEMAS conferences always take place in the Central and Eastern European region. The programme committee of the conference series consists of well known researchers from the region and renowned international colleagues, showing the prominent rank of CEEMAS among the leading events in multi-agent systems. With its particular geographical focus, CEEMAS has become an internationally recognised event. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag in the LNAI series as before. The aim of the CEEMAS conference series is to provide a biennial forum for the presentation of multi-agent research and development results. CEEMAS'07 expects papers from every fundamental research fields of multi agent systems. Papers which focus on the following three areas are especially welcome: scalability and reconfigurability of multi agent systems; deployment scenarios exploiting synergies of multi agent systems and other related technologies like grid, web services and semantic web; applications of multi agent systems in design and manufacturing, transport and logistics, space applications, tourism industry, e-commerce and many other application areas. CEEMAS'07 will be co-located with the Software Agents and Services for Business, Research, and E-Sciences (SABRE) set of conferences, so that many agent and multi-agent researchers can meet in Leipzig in September 2007. Download the call for papers from the download area and distribute it in your organisation. There is time until September 2007.
