Travel Information Arrival in Budapest - transfer from the airport & railway Most participants will arrive at the Budapest Ferihegy Airport. The simplest means of transportation from the airport to any place in Budapest is via minibuses. This door-to-door Airport Minibus Service (tel: +36-1-296 8555) is reasonably priced (approx. EUR 9-10) and is much more reliable than taxis. The Airport Minibus desk in the Arrival hall sells tickets and takes reservations. If you arrive by railway, then you arrive in the downtown of Budapest and follow the instructions for public transportation below. Getting to the Conference venue by public transportation From the airport you may take Bus #96 to Kőbánya-Kispest (terminal of Bus #96). Tickets are available at METRO stations, news-stands or major bus/tram termini and must be validated inside the vehicles or at the entrance to the METRO. Please, keep your ticket with you by the end of the route/exit (Metro). The Hotel Agro Panorama (H-1121 Budapest, Normafa str. 54.), situated near the Hotel Normafa - the conference venue, can be reached as follows: From Moszkva tér: take bus #21 (written in black!), get off at the Hotel Olympia (the last but one stop). Visit the map section of the web page of Hotel Normafa and check the routes on the Map of Budapest. To get to the hotels follow the line of bus #21 (written in black!).
